We love the Alps and we could spend a life-time exploring new trails here. But the world is full of beautiful mountain regions and great trails so occasionally we like to go a bit further afield. Travelling to new areas gives so many wonderful experiences in addition to the usual mountain experience - cultures we’ve only read about, religions we don’t practise, languages we don’t understand, food we didn’t know existed...

Planning a trekking expedition to a new region can be a big task and the unknowns surrounding the challenges and safety associated with the objective can be daunting. If you have a dream of trekking in a new mountain region in the world and would like help with the planning and leading of the trip, we would love to help.

Over the years, we have visited a great many mountain regions around the world. We have built up a network of contacts who can help with all those little details that will make an expedition successful, such as local information and logistics. Our fully certified guides and leaders have been trained and assessed to lead groups on high altitude treks and mountain expeditions to remote areas throughout the world.

One thing we have learned over the years is that you can’t always plan for everything on an expedition and that’s just part of the experience. However, having the experience, the know-how and the contacts goes a very long way.

If you are short of ideas, here are a few options to wet your appetite -

Himalaya

Home of the highest mountains on our planet and an amazing cultural treat. The classic treks to Everest base camp and Kala Patar or the Annapurna circuit are still some of the top itineraries in the trekking world. Trekking peak such as Mera Peak or Island Peak are feasible objectives for experienced and adventurous trekkers.

Afrika

Mount Kilimanjaro is a must for adventurous walkers and can be combined with neighbouring Mount Meru or a safari. Alternatively, Mount Toubkai in Morocco is a wonderful trekking peak.

North America

The great wild West offers amazing trekking opportunities in the many national parks such as Yosemite, Death Valley and Rainier. Or how about Alaska in the North for some true wilderness?

Prices for trekking expeditions

All trekking expeditions are different so it is not possible to quote a fixed price. We will calculate a competitive price based on the number of members, the destination and objectives and the level of trip support/inclusions you desire. Please contact us for a chat.

Even for small groups, a tailor made trip often ends up cheaper than joining a pre-organised trip and offers much more flexibility in terms of time schedules, group sizes and your individual abilities and aspirations.
